REPLACEMENT SPOOL LINE CLIPS FOR DAIWA REELS (LARGE SIZE KIT) SET OF FOUR
 
If you are unlucky enough to brake your Daiwa spool line clip, you will find out that Daiwa do not supply them separately, you will need to buy a brand new spool, if they are available!
 
Jim's Reel Shop are now able to supply line friendly sprung replacement line clips, as we have been asked frequently to do so!

No modification of the spool is necessary.

This size of line clip large, is for the following Daiwa models;

Crosscast X5000 & X5000LD

Daiwa Emblem Pro

Daiwa Emblem Spod (replaces the sharks tooth)

Daiwa Infinity

Daiwa Sportsmatic

Daiwa Grandwave BR

Windcast S, X & Z reels (not suitable for the B/R models)

Our line clips are supplied in a do it yourself, self-fitting kit and no specialist tools are required, it includes:

Black anodised line friendly metal clip
Washer
Stainless Steel spring
E-clip

Assembly instructions:

Remove the original plastic line clip and retaining pin

Insert the line clip into the side of the spool, followed by the washer, spring and secure with the E-clip

Line Clip Fitment Service (£10.00 per spool, not including return postage)

If you are struggling to fit our line clips to your spools and wish us to do it, we can do so! (a paid for service, not free of charge) Just send in your spools and the purchased Jim's Reel Shop line clip kits, in a good strong cardboard box (a signed for service, is recommended). We will then charge £10.00 fitment charge, per spool (the return postage & packing fee, needs to be paid for as well), using a signed for service.
If you wish to strip the line from your Spools, we can ultrasonically clean your spools and fit new Carbontex drag washers, at additional expense. Please make sure we have kits for your Spools!
