REPLACEMENT SPOOL LINE CLIPS FOR CROSSCAST CARP 5000C QD & WINDCAST 5000QDA REELS 
 
If you are unlucky enough to break your Daiwa spool line clip, you will find out that Daiwa do not supply them separately, you will need to buy a brand new spool, if they are available! 
 
Jim's Reel Shop are now able to supply line friendly sprung replacement line clips, as we have been asked frequently to do so! No modification of the spool is necessary. In a black colour to match your spool!
 
This size of line clip is for the following Daiwa models only;
 
Daiwa Crosscast 5000C QD
 
Daiwa Windcast 5000C QDA

Our line clips are supplied in a do it yourself, self-fitting kit, which includes the following parts; 

Line friendly metal clip
Washer
Spring
E-clip retainer 

Assembly instructions:

Remove the original line clip and remove the plastic retaining spigot. 
Insert line the clip into the side of the spool, followed by the washer, spring and secure with the retaining clip

Tooling required:

Flat screwdriver, side cutters & long nosed pliers
