SHIMANO AERO TECHNIUM QUICK DRAG WASHERS
 
Shimano Q/D drag washers are an excellent choice for anglers who want to change to a Quick Drag, from loose to locked up, in half a turn of the drag knob. These washers enable a truly Quick Drag! A set of Shimano Quick Drag washers for the Aero Technium reels, (please read the list of models they fit). Three washers are required per spool. They replace the stock felt drag washers, which CAN stick to the metal drag washers, compress and quickly lose their effectiveness.

Some of our customers do not like Carbon drag washers as the drag feels less direct. These Shimano Q/D drag washers are maintenance-free and do not need to be greased. These Q/D washers also do not retain moisture and dirt in the drag grease, which is needed for best results.

When fitting these Shimano Q/D drag washers,  the original felt drag washers are removed and the metal drag washers need to be properly cleaned. These drag washers are installed completely dry.  They will those their effectiveness if the old grease is not removed. We are selling packs of three washers enough to convert a single spool. If you have six spools order six sets. Three washers are required per spool.
