ABU 501 CARBON DRAG WASHER UP-GRADE KITS

This is a kit assembled by Jim's Reel Shop for the ABU 501 closed-face spinning reel. It contains two Carbontex drag washer, which replace the stock leather drag washers. ABU part number 5752. The leather drag washer wear and perish being a natural material and over thirty-eight years old! The ABU 501 was introduced in 1977. Make sure the metal drag washers 4751, 5753 & 6850 are in good order especially 5751 which does corrode. It is essential all remnants of the old leather drag washers are removed from the metal drag washers and they ARE NOT CORRODED
