ABU CARDINAL 3/4/4X/33/40/44 & 44X SPOOL CHENILLE 
 
Two pieces of chenille to refurbish the plastic spools as fitted to the ABU Cardinal 3/4/4X/33/40 & 44X spinning reels. These are the pieces of spool chenilles, often described as "pipe cleaners" There is enough chenille to refurbish two of the plastic match spools as fitted to the Cardinal spinning reels
 
Chenille is attached around the lower circumference of the ABU Cardinal spools, as it helps to prevent the wind blowing the line behind the spool and becoming entangled. Which causes much annoyance when fishing!
 
Two pieces of  chenille are included. They are white in colour with a soft wire insert. The original ABU chenille was red in colour, and has not been available from ABU for over thirty  years and in the intervening years most of the original chenille is missing from most of the reels we have in for servicing. A replacement for the chenille fitted to the deep spool ABU part number 9881 and the Match capacity spool part number 7044
