CARBONTEX 4 ABU AMBASSADEUR 5500/6000/6500 AMBASSADEUR 1992 ONWARDS

Carbontex, from the USA is the new generation of Laminated Carbon-Fibre drag washer material. The perfect combination of unrivalled stopping power and a silky smoothness. Carbontex drag washers can be used dry, or with a very light coating of Cal's drag washer grease; to stop the click plates from corroding, unlike the original ABU drag washers!!

Carbontex drag washers are the best upgrade available, with a high heat tolerance with an outstanding consistency. Try them and you will not be disappointed!

This listing is for a SET of four Carbontex drag washers, the 5500CA kit is for the post 1992 Ambassadeurs:

4000/4001, 4500/4501,4600/4601, 5000/5001, 6000/6001, 6500 C3 Mag Elites blue & green, C4 reels and Record 40 from 1992.

These washers are replacements for the ABU part numbers 20907/1116906 and bushing drag washer 13169

This kit is NOT suitable for the Kalex, BCX or the modern 6500S Chinese reels.

Please look at your reel schematic to ensure the correct drag washers are ordered, if in doubt please ask!
