ABU AMBASSADEUR 5000/5500/MAG2 CT CONVERSION KITS
 
An extremely well engineered and manufactured CT conversion kit for the Ambassadeur 5000, 5500 & Ultramag 2 reels.
 
The kit Jim's Reel Shop stock is extremely well engineered and manufactured. The conversion bar  and studs are manufactured from Brass, C.N.C machined and Chromium plated in the U.K. The bars are lightweight and extremely strong. The bars come complete with all fixings.
 
If your side screws are chewed up, you may wish to replace them, look for Abu screw part number 199.
 
This conversion is within the skill set of a competent mechanic & d.i.y'ers. Care needs to be taken to avoid damaging the cage. If you are not confident in doing this conversion, Jim's Reel Shop and service and convert your reel. The use of Loctite thread locking compound is recommended.
