New Carbontex ! Our new line of Carbontex drag washers, are a new generation of carbon fibre drag washers. This very high quality carbon fibre drag material is the perfect combination of unrivalled stopping power, silky smoothness and outstanding consistency, with a high heat tolerence. Carbontex may be used dry or with a very light coating of your favourite drag grease.

A new Carbontex drag-washer upgrade kit, designed to replace the stock drag washers in the Daiwa SeaLine SL20SH, SL30SH, SG20H and SG30SH models. This kit contains four Carbontex drag washers

We are asked by the majority of our customers to fit them to their reels when we are servicing them at Jim's Reel Shop. They can be used dry, or with a very light coating of Cal's drag washer grease.  Cal's grease gives the washers a smoother drag release, whilst losing some of the top end drag. A greater drag is achieved without grease, though the release is not as smooth, than with the drags lightly greased. 

Carbontex washers only need to be very lightly smeared with Cal's grease or your favourite drag washer grease
