The Mitchell 300 Book
A new Mitchell 300 book fully revised and updated, the European edition, with a brand new extra chapter not included in the original American book.... 194, colour pages in A4 format. This book is still being sold in the United States but in Europe it has had a make-over. So the book being sold in the United States is outdated in less than eighteen months by Wallace Carney.
The Mitchell 300 book was financed and printed by Jims Reel Shop in the UK at Wallace Carneys request, it includes Carneys studies of all the of the French manufactured Mitchell 300 reels. Also included are full colour images of the boxes they were sold in, along with the paperwork.
There are many unusual photographed Mitchell 300 reels, along with presentation reels which were presented to the top executives. Also illustrated are "Special made to order reels" such as the Tournament casting reels.
From the Half-bail reel of the late nineteen thirties to the last of the French maufactured reel in 1989. Only the known French manufactured reels are illustrated. Not the later manufactured Taiwanese reels made for many years after the French models which ended the 300 production run. These later models may be included in another re-write probably in less than a year! It may then have the rest of the models which were made by Mitchell.
