We offer an excellent value for money repair and servicing facility. We repair and service all Mitchell models and Abu closed face models

A full reel servicing involves a complete breakdown of the reel at jimsreelshop.co.uk not just a lubrication. All components are degreased, ultrasonically cleaned and inspected for wear. Parts are replaced only if necessary-with owners approval. Reels are repaired efficiently without any delay as we hold the parts in stock to enable us to service these reels. The time spent servicing these reels is usually around three hours per reel sometimes more depending on the model.

Price for a complete rebuild starts at only £14.95 per reel and includes small repairs necessary- (not including parts or postage)

Spool servicing

Spools are stripped of old line, broken down to their  component parts, degreased, ultra-sonically cleaned, re-assembled, lubed and inspected

Price only £2.00 per spool

P&P included if serviced with a reel, otherwise  £1.75 each.

Terms and Conditions

Permission will be sought before any parts are replaced. If Parts permission is declined the servicing charge will still be applicable. Insurance is highly recommended. We will be pleased to provide it, just ask. Reels will be disposed of if not paid for within two weeks.
