Thank you for visiting the U.K's Independent specialist classic fishing reel site. If you can remember the Mitchell Match reels and Abu 500 reels then this is the site for you. We specialise in only classic Mitchell and Abu 500 series fishing reels.
We offer a repair / servicing facility for your favourite classic fishing reels using genuine factory parts. Servicing is carried out in house by a highly skilled engineering technician. We hold an extensive selection of Mitchell parts and can build a new classic reel using genuine new old stock parts. We also service and stock parts for the ABU closed face half encapsulated classic series of reels.
Jim is a very keen Mitchell collector and author. His latest discovery's are the 440A Anniversary edition and the 440 Match reel with 440A gearing. If you would like to visit the GALLERY you will see some extremely rare models on display that cannot be found on any other site. Please enjoy.
